JOHN DAVID HEINSEN President and Executive Producer
John is a 18 year veteran of the entertainment industry with experience in network news, independent film, broadcast television, and most recently the mobile space. He is currently President and Executive Producer of Bunnygraph Entertainment, Inc.
Previously, John served for two years as Manager of Primetime Programming for the FOX Broadcasting Company, where he creatively helped
oversee series such as "Family Guy", "Bernie Mac" and "That 70's
Show". He also worked with brands such as Starbucks and Gap while
in in the New Media/Branded
Entertainment and Television Packaging Divisions of
International Creative Management (ICM). He began his career in 1992
as a Producer at KVOA in
Tucson, AZ.
John serves as Co-Chair of Mobile for the Producers Guild of
America (PGA), New Media Council and is Co-Founder and Executive
Producer of the Altadena Comedy Festival. Additionally, John is an
Adjunct Professor of Entertainment Business at California State
University Los Angeles and leads the New Media Marketing track of
Columbia College Chicago's Semester in Los Angeles.
Originally from Chicago, John received his MFA in 1996 while a Producing Fellow at The Center for Advanced Film and Television Studies at the American Film Institute and in 1994 received a BFA from the School of Media Arts at the University of Arizona.
He lives in Altadena, CA (aka Pasadena adjacent) with his wife Lisa and three rapidly growing children.
